Arrivée
en Italie, Christiano (Desmo club Rome), nous attendait, Michael Roth
et moi-même, à l'aéroport. Sur la route pour l'Hötel
nous avons retrouvé Daniele (Desmo Club Rome) et Monique (attachée
de presse de Nina Prinz). Nous apprécions vraiment beaucoup l'aide
que nous apportent les gens du Desmo Club.
Vendredi j'ai eu 2 entrainements libres qui ne se sont
pas déroulés aussi bien que je l'aurais souhaité,
nous avions très peu progressé. En fin de journée,
en concertation avec Luca (MUPO), nous avons pensé à un
réglage différent du "set-up" pour les qualifications
du samedi.
Samedi, les qualifications nous ont
montré que nous avions eu raison, durant la première séance,
je bats le record du tour féminin
avec 1.43.1.
Mais, mon but de la journée était de descendre en dessous.
Le matin au petit déjeuner, Marco (Gerbaudo) m'avait informé
qu'il m'offrait une place en Wildcard
pour le course Superstock EM
si je descendais en 1.42, WOWWWWWW......
Allons-y pour le 1.42 – c'est une super opportunité pour
moi !
Après
avoir fait modifier les reglages de la fourche, j'ai pu améliorer
mon temps en 2ème séance, mais toujours
pas assez: 1.43.084. De plus, il faisait maintenant très
chaud, ce qui n'offrait pas les meilleurs conditions pour les Pirelli.
Mais il était bon de voir que j'avais été la seule
capable d'améliorer le temps du meilleur tour.
Ainsi la Pole-Position pour
le dimanche était garantie !!!!
J'étais vraiment soulagée.
Dimanche:
Les essais m'avaient montré que je pouvais rouler régulièrement
en 1.43, alors allons-y pour la course !
Paola Cazzola effectue un très bon départ
et prend la 1ère place. Je sentais que je pouvais rouler plus vite
qu'elle, mais ne voulais rien risquer dans un premier temps (comme en
Ewcup 2006 où Nina chuta dans le premier tour sur ce même
circuit laissant la place libre à Paola qui fini 1ère) et
suis restée un tour derrière elle. Ma Ducati ne voulant
plus attendre, elle prit pour objectif de dépasser Paola et sa
Yamaha sur une ligne droite. J'ai été surprise par sa puissance
que j'ai vraiment apprécié.... De vendredi à samedi
Giorgio avait probablement effectué un bon travail
en installant le nouveau moteur ;o)
Durant la course, je ne voulais pas prendre de risque et me concentrais
à aller juste un peu plus vite que Paola, ce qui a eu pour résultat
un écart de 23 secondes à l'arrivée.
Quel soulagement !
Je
suis très heureuse de ce résultat et voudrais remercier
mon Team, Y2K, les gens du Desmoclub,
Ducati et Monique.
Merci à Hans-Ludwig Blaas, Holzapfel-Gruppe, qui
m'a apporté un grand soutien moral durant ce week-end.

Upon arrival we (Michael Roth and myself) were already expected by Christiano
(Desmo Club Rom). Halfway towards the hotel we met up with Daniele (DesmoClubRome)
who had collected Monique. We really appreciate the help we get from the
DesmoClubRome.
Friday there ware 2 trainingsessions which didnt go as well as I would
have wanted. The progress was only little. So by the end of the day Luca
(MUPO) and I discussed the possibility for a different
set-up for the qualifying on saturday.
It showed that our choise had been right, because during the first qualifying
I was able to set a new record,
1.43.1.
My goal for the day was to get under the 1.43 as Marco (Gerbaudo) had
informed me during breakfast that morning, a wildcard
for the Superstock EM could
be my bonus if I get even better laptimes. WOWWWWWW,
let’s get the 1.42 – this is a great opportunity.
After changing the fork before the 2. quallifying I was able to improve,
but still not enough (1.43.084 ). But it was good to see, I had been the
only one who was able to improve the laptime.
So Pole Position on Sunday
garantueed !!!!
The days before made me confident that I would be able to ride constant
low 1.33 laptimes during the
race on sunday. So off we go.
Paola really started of good and took the first position. I knew and felt
I could ride faster then the others and I wasn’t able to hold my
bike back any longer! After less then one lap, we (my Ducati and me) were
able to overtake them (Paola and her Yamaha) on the straight. I couldn’t
help it but just enjoy the power of the Ducati.
Giorgio had done a great job installing the new engine ? ;o)
During the race
I didn’t want to take risks but I wanted to be a bit faster than
Poala, which resulted by the end in a gap of 23 seconds. I am really happy
with the result and the help and would like to thank my team, Y2K, the
people from the Desmoclub, Ducati and Monique.

support during the
weekend.

In
Italien am Flughafen angekommen wurden wir (Michael Roth und ich) schon
von Christiano (Desmo Club Rom) empfangen. Auf die Desmo
Club Leute ist einfach verlass.
Wir haben uns dann mit Daniele und Monique getroffen und uns auf dem Weg
ins Hotel gemacht.
Am Freitag hatte ich 2 freie Trainings. In denen ist es für mich nicht ganz so gelaufen wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Wir gingen leider nur kleine Schritte nach vorne. Abends habe ich mich noch mal mit Luca zusammengesetzt. Wir haben uns für Samstag ein anderes Setup ausgedacht. Das hat auch sehr gut funktioniert hat.
Im
ersten Qualli konnte ich meine Zeit auf 1.43.1 drücken. Ich wollte
aber unbedingt 1.42. er Zeit
fahren. Denn morgens beim Frühstück hatte mir Marco gesagt wenn
ich 1.42 fahre dann darf ich evtl.
zur Superstock EM. WOW
Also die 1.42. musste her….
Zum 2. ten Qualli habe ich noch etwas an der Gabel ändern lassen,
was mich auch wieder nach vorne gebracht hat. Leider habe ich meine Zeit
nur 1 zehntel ( 1.43.084 ) verbessern können. Im zweiten Qualli war
ich aber die einzigste die ihre Zeit noch verbessern konnte. Es war so
furchtbar heiß geworden, für die Pirellis war das eher von
Nachteil.
Somit hatte ich für Sonntag die Pole !!!!
Ich war schon sehr erleichtert.
Für Sonntag war ich zuversichtlich denn ich konnte niedrige 1.33
er Zeiten konstant fahren.
Los geht’s …
Paola legte wieder einen Start hin, wie er im Buche steht….
Ich merkte schon nach den ersten paar Runden das ich schneller fahren
konnte. Ich wollte aber erst mal nichts riskieren und bin eine Runde hinterher
gefahren. Meine Ducati wollte aber nicht mehr länger warten und ist
an der Start-/Ziel Geraden an der Yamaha vorbei !
Ich war selber überrascht was für eine Power die Ducati hatte….
Von Freitag auf Samstag hatte wohl Giorgio gute Arbeit geleistet ? ;o)
Im Rennen habe ich mich eigentlich nur darauf konzentriert etwas schneller
zu sein wie Paola.
Was mir dann mit fast 23 sec. Vorsprung sehr gut gelungen ist.
Ich war so erleichtert…
